Miss Tennessee
Volunteer Pageant
Miss Tennessee Volunteer is a statewide non-profit scholarship program dedicated to empowering young women through education and opportunities. This pageant is held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in late July.
Jackson International
Food & Arts Festival
A place for all cultures to share their cuisine, art, and traditional performances, the Jackson International Food & Arts Festival spreads cultural awareness, promotes cross-cultural engagement, and celebrates the diverse backgrounds of residents throughout West Tennessee.
Miss Volunteer
America Pageant
Miss Volunteer America, founded by Allison DeMarcus, is a national scholarship program held annually in June. The pageant, rooted in service, empowers young women across the country through educational scholarships and unique opportunities.
AMP Summer
Music Series
Located in the heart of Jackson behind the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market, Jackson’s AMP at the Market is Jackson’s outdoor amphitheater. With a free summer concert series and events and festivals happening all year round, The AMP is THE place to be and be seen all year long.
Jackson Symphony: Starlight Symphony
Since 1961, the Jackson Symphony has been bringing classical music to Jackson and the surrounding communities. Their annual season consists of a six concert subscription series, featuring three classical concerts and three “pops” programs. The orchestra also performs a free outdoor Starlight Symphony fall concert.
731 Day
#731Day is a city-wide celebration of the people and the stories of the city we love, Jackson, TN! With events like the annual water balloon fight and Porchfest (featuring live music on stages throughout the historic LANA neighborhood), this is a day to celebrate our community and the people who live here.
Vintage Makers Music
and Arts Festival
Started in 2023 by three passionate female entrepreneurs, this free weekend festival celebrates art, music, and community. It features unique art and vintage vendors, plus live music at The AMP, making it a family-friendly opportunity to support local artists and enjoy music.

West Tennessee
Strawberry Festival
Since 1934, the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival in Humboldt, TN has been the state’s largest and longest-standing festival, held each May. Enjoy pageants, music, golf, a horse show, fireworks, recipe contests, a carnival, parades with floats and bands, runs, and delicious festival cuisine!
Trenton
Teapot Festival
Trenton, TN, known as the Teapot Capital of the World, has hosted the Trenton Teapot Festival since 1981. This week-long celebration starts with the Lighting of the Teapots and concludes with the Annual Grand Parade. Experience music, fireworks, a chocolate extravaganza, sports, arts & crafts, antique cars, and more!
Chester County
BBQ Festival
The Chester County BBQ Festival has been a cherished annual tradition since 1978, offering BBQ, live entertainment, fried treats, children’s activities, and vendor delights.This free event is hosted by the Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce.
